Senior (Year 11-13) Ski/Snowboarding Trip to Austria

February Half Term: 10th February – 18th February 2017

This trip was launched in the early summer and we took the first bookings. I am aware that many of the students eligible for this trip were uncertain about the next steps in their education and/or had not even joined the school. We still have plenty of places available and are still taking bookings.

The trip takes place in the middle of the spring term so there is still plenty of time for preparation before the vitally important summer examinations. Students in the past have had a great time skiing or snowboarding and enjoyed making lots of new friends. A residential trip such as this builds self-confidence and independence.

Please find attached the letter giving full details and an invitation to a presentation from the director of Snowslippers on Wednesday 2nd November 2016 at 19.15. Please note that the prices have been held and there has been no increase in the basic cost. This is a good year to ski with Snowslippers!

Junior Ski Trip (Year 7-10) Ski Trip to Austria

The first week of the Easter break: 31st March – 8th April 2017

This trip was first launched in May 2016. It was then re launched in September 2016 to allow the new Year 7 and 8 students to be included in this rewarding and exciting opportunity.

The trip takes place the first week of the Easter Holidays. Students enjoy skiing, eating traditional food, speaking German, experiencing a different culture and making lots of new friends. A residential trip such as this builds self-confidence and independence.

To quote one student, “Great fun! A real sense of community with all the years enjoying the whole experience”.
