Food and Graphics technician 

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated technician to support our small but successful Design Faculty teaching team in this dynamic school environment. 

Hours: 25 hours per week – term time only 

Salary  range:  £10600 to £11900   (equivalent to Bucks Pay Range 2) 

Start date:  as soon as possible 

Closing Date 4th July 2017 at 2pm

We take arts education seriously and are fortunate to be able to work with such talented and well motivated students. 

Typical duties will include maintaining the hygiene and safety of the food room, preparation of materials and classrooms, ordering materials and resources, supporting students in the food room (and also giving occasional support to staff and students in the graphics area.)

This position would suit someone with a flexible outlook and good general practical skills who is fairly comfortable using ICT and enjoys working with young people. (An enhanced CRB check will be a requirement of the post).  A passion for food and knowledge of ingredients and their working functions would help but we are confident that we can develop that in you!

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated technician to support our successful science teaching team in this dynamic school environment.

Typical duties will include preparation of materials and classrooms, ordering materials and resources, maintaining equipment, supporting students in laboratories and making sure that experiments are conducted safely. 

This position would suit someone with a flexible outlook and good general practical skills who is fairly comfortable using ICT and enjoys working with young people. A passion for science and some scientific knowledge are both essential qualities.

FACILITIES MANAGER

Full time, 52 weeks, 37 Hours a week, Mon-Fri variable hours

Salary £25151 - £27319 per annum, dependent on experience, with potential for further advancement.

Leading a small facilities team this role will suit an individual with a proven track record of forward planning, initiating and delivering across the complete spectrum of activities - security, health and safety, repairs, maintenance and improvement, operation of plant and equipment, movement of fixtures and fittings, site and ground maintenance, lettings and school events, including those taking part during evenings and weekends. Managing specific budgets, arranging and monitoring contracts, and ensuring compliance documentation is in place add to the breadth of this role.

The individual will be a team player with good communication and organisation skills, whilst also being responsive to staff and student requests for assistance. This is a ‘hands on role’, and flexibility with regard to working hours is a pre-requisite.
